Tanamabogo Island WWII
The Caption reads
NOT THAT THIS South Sea isle wasn't a desolate spot in the first place,
but by the time American aireman delivered one of their
knock out bombing attacks it really looked deserted.
This is Tanambogo Island in the Solomo group after U.S. bombs blasted (in forground)
and the fronts of the buildings facing the bay.
